When Albert Adrià asked me to create some graphisms for his new Mexican restaurant I really get scared, I’ll never though that sometime I could be in front of such a work.
His request was to generate something we could find in an original Mexican Taquería marking that should be something with the scent of old.
The interior design created by Pilar Libano was inspiring, the old aged walls forced me to paint directly over them as it was impossible to apply any kind of plastic or vinyl.
The big truth was that working directly with Albert made the things really easy, the genial cook has everything in mind since the start.
Here you’ll find some pictures picked from the “making of” and also some of the designs I created.
I hope this will be the first of many collaborations with Albert, Ferran Adrià and their partners the Iglesias brothers.
